i'm making a beast companion feat (called monstrous companion) for a campaign i'm going to be running. i want to add types of creatures to it as options but i don't want to add like 100 creatures manually and then the player having to add the creature to their character manually anyway.
i want it to be a drop down like Martial Adept and have the selection be added to the character automatically.
if anyone has some ways of doing this without me spending hours adding them to the feat it would be a great help.
If this is just for your campaign, then I'd just have them look through whatever list of creatures you're looking through and submit the ones they like. Then you just add those.

If you find a way to do it without adding each creature, let me know.
