"I hope though that someday you will learn to trust me as much as you apparently trust your mysterious friend." Soldaer looks slightly saddened as he says this.
"In all honesty i just got out of the carcrash like an hour ago. Kinda making baby steps here"
"I do understand that completely." Soldaer gives Avery a slight, and rather sad smile, but quickly changes. "Well, enough of this; let's switch to brighter things. I know at least some of the magic you wield, so how about I show you some of mine?" Soldaer looks him over quickly. "Are you still hurting from the crash? or feeling a little under the influence of the alcohol?"
"Naaaaaahhhh, i think most of the concussion and everal broken ribs and legs are gone for the most part."
"Ok. I do have a little healing magic at my disposal, as well as a few other forms of magic I am willing to show you, although a proper demonstration would be better preformed outside, as some of my spells can be a bit...destructive." Soldaer is smiling, quite genuinely. "Don't worry though, we'll stay within range of the protection field around the tavern, and Enethia is almost always on the roof watching over everything."
"Um.... my magic doesn't seem as cool as that, but sure." Avery nods
"Beautiful!" Soldaer seems truly thrilled. "In that case, I'll save the rest of these for afterwards," he says as he collects the bottles of Feywine and whiskey, taking them and putting them back in the cabinet. "And I'm ready when you are!"
"Hold on," he says suddenly remembering something. He goes back over to the trunk and retrieves his weapon belt, putting it back on as he walks to the door. "Now I'm ready. Shall we?"
"We shall," Avery grins. heading outside
Soldaer leads Avery outside, waving to Enethia as they walk by. "Hey E! Just coming out here to give Avery here a little bit of a magic demonstration." He shouts cheerfully.
Once they're about 100 ft from the tavern. Soldaer turns back to Avery. "So, what kind of spells would you like to start with? Or do you just want me to show you what I have up my sleeve?" As Soldaer asks this, Avery can see the excitement on his face.
"HEY! not to close to the wagon." Pock yells out, sticking his sweat covered head out of the wagon.

A heavily armored being walks into the Tavern. He's decked out in full Spartan MJOLNIR combat armor spray painted black and gold, kitted with an assault rifle of some kind as well as a hefty looking magnum. A big combat knife is sheathed on his shoulder and on the sides of his black helmet in gold print reads; FEET FIRST. He stands at about seven and a half feet tall and looks like he could flip over a car if he needed to.

"Alright, I'll start off with something simple Frostbite. It's a short-range cantrip that harms and slows the reflexes of the target." "Indeed." The frost quickly melts, leaving some minor damage to the target behind.
"Here's a harmless, but sometimes fun one. It's called Druidcraft." Soldaer spots an unopened flower about 10 ft. away, and fixes his gaze on it. "Watch that flower bud," he tells Avery. With that, he start chanting once again, his gaze fixed on the flower. When he finishes chanting, the flower slowly opens, revealing a beautiful deep red lily with a yellow throat.

Soldaer reaches into his pocket, and pulls out a small piece of moonstone. "This is called a star map, and I will show you why later. For now though, it is a necessary component for the next spell I want to show you: Guiding Bolt." With that, Soldaer starts chanting once again. As he's chanting, the moonstone begins to glow, seemingly from the inside. When he finishes chanting, the glow suddenly flares, and a brilliant bolt of pure whitish-gold radiance flies out, striking one of the target dummies dead center with a bright flash. When the flash is gone, there's a small burn mark that seems to be glowing slightly, although it fades rather quickly.

"Oh, I was just talking about how many I've killed."

"Alright, I'll start off with something simple Frostbite. It's a short-range cantrip that harms and slows the reflexes of the target." Soldaer starts chanting, the chant almost sounding a little like a prayer. A few seconds later, a small bolt shoots out from Soldaer's hand and hits one of the dummies, quickly coating it in a layer of bluish ice.
"Woah, ya made it frozen!" Avery claps, having not seen that cantrip before

"Indeed." The frost quickly melts, leaving some minor damage to the target behind.
"That particular spell also has a few other uses, including being able to predict the weather."
"Seems super useful," Avery nods, looking at the sky, "Could prepare for a storm."

"Well, let's see what the weather holds for tomorrow, shall we?" Soldaer repeats the same chant, this time focused on the sky. When he finishes, a small golden sphere appears in the air, about 10 ft above his head. "Looks like it's supposed to be nice and sunny out tomorrow."
*Alright y'all, it's midnight for me, so I need to get to bed. Have a neutral good night!*
"Woah...... thats so cool! It left like a burning thing??" Avery says, looking closely at the dummy that was hit
