I have a cleric subclass, features at 2, 6, 8, and 17, still doesn't let me publish. I used Knowledge domain as a base and changed all the features, wouldn't let me publish, left the 4 (had also one at 3 before), saved, and it still doesn't let me publish.

I'm getting this for a fighter class, now. I have a feature on level 3, 7, 10, 15, and 18. No idea why it's saying I don't have them in the right place...

I've seen it said in other places here that fighters also need a level 5 feature, for reasons that are unknown. If I remember correctly, staff or a moderator has said they are looking in to that.
I copied the Battle Master as a template and THAT came up with the "homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels" error.
So now even the DNDB vanilla subclasses are wrong?
ps: I added a dummy lvl 5 feature and the warning went away.
Glad to hear other fighter classes are dealing with, I have had a Fighter subclass for months I have been working away on, and just now it has popped u with this error. I'll try adding a dummy feature for 5th level

I Personally wouldn’t (and haven’t) bother(ed). It really shouldn’t be there and when they fix the glitch you will be able to publish normally. Just keep playtesting and editing and sooner or later you will be able to publish normally. At least that’s what I’m doing.
This is happening to me now with a barbarian subclass. I have two features at 3rd level and one at 6th, 10th, and 14th each. Anyone know of a fix here?
EDIT: Never mind, I fixed it by stating that the subclass can't cast spells. Thanks anyway!

Well, I tried adding a 5th level dummy feature and it didn't work anyways.... *shrug*

Any time you add or alter class features, you must re-save the entire homebrew using the main “SAVE CHANGES” button under “Basic Information” as that is the only time the system checks those compliances.
I'm having a problem with a Druid subclass I made. I copied the Circle of Spores and used it as the baseline; I only have the features at each level the Circle of Spores did. A spell list, Two 2nd level features, 6, 10, and 14. Yet I am still getting "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels" error. I also tried saving it under the basic info like yall said, but the issue is still there. Is there something I'm forgetting or is there another reason that this problem would happen?
Thank you! That fixed it! Though... I am a little confused by it. Whenever I make copies of the druid classes, they always list their spell lists as 2nd level features. Seems a little weird they don't have to follow their own rules... Anyway, thanks!
I was getting this same issue, but I found that the message was actually misleading. I had neglected to specifically set the "Can Cast Spells" field in the general information section to "No." After setting that, I no longer got the message. Could be a coincidence, but it's worth a look if you're having this issue.

Odd. Thanks for the help!
I had this exact same problem. I added a level 5 feature, and the error disappeared.

Druids require a level 3 feature because some of them have circle spells. You can also just leave it as a blank ability.

It isn’t the spells, one of the subclasses has an edge case thing that mucks it up for homebrewers.
