8+INT THP on the entire party going into a fight and then 4.5+INT regenerating every round on you *and all nearby allies* is incredibly good and usually the best use of the three cannons. That's why later when your cannon upgrades its damage, it doesn't also upgrade its thp - that would be OP.

Just wondering if the protector version of the eldritch cannon is worth it. Temp HP is nice but there are plenty of ways to get them.
Have any of you made good use of this feature or do you tend to go with the damage versions?
