I'm noticing that when I took a two level dip in Artificer as a level 12 character that the stat block of the Homunculus Servant is only taking my levels in Artificer into account. For Hit points this makes sense as those are supposed to be based on Artificer level, but the skills and Force Strike are supposed to be based on Proficiency Bonus but what I'm getting in D&D Beyond automatically only makes sense if I were playing a level 2 character rather than a level 12 character with 2 levels of Artificer.
Several of the new features and spells present Monster Statblocks which scale with your character. This includes spells that summon other creatures. The system to handle these creatures is still under development but we have included inline stat blocks wherever possible to help you reference the stats you need.
So I guess we artificers have to wait/homebrew until it's done.

I've experiencing the same issue with my steal defender and Homunculus Servant not leveling up when I level up. Still not fixed on DnD Beyond. How do I make a homebrew version of my defender and servant that levels up automatically when I do?
What I ended up doing was using the Manage Custom section of the Action tab on the character sheet. That let me build an attack for the Force Strike ability. I'm sure I'll have to adjust it when my Proficiency goes up but for now it works. If it comes up enough I'll do the same thing for Stealth and Perception checks but for now I just made a custom note in the Homunculus stat block. I'm not having to worry about a steel defender but you can adjust Max HP in the stat block, though it might reset each time you take a long rest.
Yeah, I just edit the homebrew Homunculus Servant whenever my PB/INT increases. There is no mechanic for automatic leveling of Monsters right now

Makes no sense on why it hasn't been fixed. Hell, it's been over three years since this thread started and it's still and issue. I emailed DnD Beyond and they acknowledged that it's bug in the system. Then why not fix it?! lol. Thanks for your input guys.
The development teams have a lot on their hands. This is not a bug that needs fixing. It's complete feature that needs to be implemented. Things like this take time and resources. And since it's more of a niche problem, many other things are more important to implement/fix.

It's a known problem (Artificer - Homunculus Servant Stats - Bugs & Support).

Just glad it's on the radar.
