just wanted to share a project I just wrapped today. I wanted to give my friends a really fun magic item to experience. I came across a custom deck called the deck of balance. It still has some broken cards, but whatever. I just want them to have fun!
I borrowed art from one of my favorite games I play, path of exile. They have a divination card system in the game and the artwork worked perfectly to transfer to some old mtg cards. I found a template online for mtg cards, copied the artwork over to the template, printed, glued and stuck them to the cards. I think I'll go through one more time to get any loose edges, and then sleeve them! I'm so excited for when the party gets their hands on this bad boy!
Here's my google doc that I'm using as a reference for the card art/what each does. I still need to go through and color code. Atm, I'm using red to signify cards that I'm leaning towards not telling them the effects right away.
