I've been DMing Tombs of Annihilation for going on 25 sessions at this point along with DMing two other campaigns as well. I found that one of the most difficult and somewhat annoying things about managing ToA was dealing with players keeping track of where they were on the map of Chult. I know there are some higher resolution maps out there that may help the players, but I could not find any that actually had numbered hexes.
I went ahead and made some hex numbered maps for both the players and the DMs that match. This definitely allowed me to better keep track of their daily travels, and when they found their way after being lost I could just tell them which number they were in. It also made it quite simple to let them know where certain discovered or rumoured artifacts could be found. I may as well share the wealth with the community.
Good luck and happy hunting. If you have issues seeing the numbers when you zoom in let me know and I'll see if there is a way to post it with less compression.
Thank you so much for making these! The DM version looks incredible! I did notice that the Player's version is pretty blurry for the actual map layer. The numbers are very clear, but the map itself is just a little fuzzy and difficult to read. I realize it's been quite a while since you posted this, so no worries if you're not able to post a less compressed version of the player map. Thanks again!
