Okay, I got a .svg of a city from a city generator and made it really big with Inkscape. Now, what should I do with it? I'll include district names on a copy for players, but what else? Should I label street names? Shops? Is that important? How can I make this map most useful?
A large part comes down to how long you and your players will stay/interact with this town in relation to how much time you'll want to invest into it. The more time that is invested, the more detail that will be appreciated. My players have always been fairly nomadic, so I'd label a 'business district' or street, a few other points of interest, else just improv as we went.

To each their own.
Well, it's an urban campaign, ha. Thanks!
