Is there a way to edit the Proficiency Modifier on a new "monster" created using the Homebrew utility when using an established monster as a template? The Guard has a proficiency mod of +2, but I'd like to make it a +3 on a new monster I'm creating with the guard as the template.
Thanks!

The Proficiency Bonus is based entirely on CR, and the scaling is the same as with the Prof Bonus for PC level. So you'll need to give your new monster a CR of 5 or more.

Well if you're talking about Sidekicks, their PB depends on their class level, just the same as with PCs.
Until there's a reasonable way in DDB to implement Tasha-style sidekicks with leveling etc., you'd need to make your monster stat block have the traits of the Sidekick's base creature and its class features based on its level, and then assign a CR equal to the class level, to make sure things work out. And every time the Sidekick levels up, you'd add the new class level features, add 1 to CR, and adjust stats and attack/damage rolls accordingly.

Not arguing... I just think that's kinda ridiculous. It seems to fly in the face of what the sidekicks are/do in Tasha's.
