It appears that there is no decent way to create characters who use thrown weapons. You almost always have to add some custom stuff "on top" of formulas to enable character sheet working properly.
For example.. Dagger is a simple, melee weapon with thrown feature. The attack and the damage is the same in both scenarios. Now let's say I have a feat, Fighter Initiate with fighting style of Throwing weapons. The damage changes in scenario where I throw a dagger vs stabbing in melee range.
There is no good way to have that in character sheet. I have to manually create "fake" items, add some bonuses, etc. Why not have 2 actions for items with thrown feature? Why not add weapon checkbox "can be thrown" and adjust it automatically?
Yeah, they already have the UI set up to cover versatile weapons. There's a second button for making a 2h attack that calculates damage differently. Thrown weapons all need this same treatment.

Agreed with the above.
