I am adding a subclass that applies a number of modifiers on use - but it doesn't do that, it just always applies the modifiers to the character sheet. I can add limited use data and the checkboxes appear, but the modifiers are not tied to these checkboxes. The character that has the subclass always has the modifiers (i.e. +2 to melee weapon attack damage, or advantage on Strength saving throws). Is there a way to connect limit use and the application of a modifier? So that the player is "activating" the modifier. All the modifiers also have a duration of 1 minute if that makes any difference.
Sorry for the newb question, I just can't see the option to connect the 2 together.
