If you select a crossbow and +1 crossbow bolt, the bonuses to hit and damage don't appear in the attack.
Also, if you create your own magic crossbow bolts using a template it won't save as you have to set the weapon type, and ammunition isn't an option. The best I can do is set the type to crossbow and set consumable charges as the number of bolts.
Is this still an issue? I'm not seeing the bonus (to hit nor damage) on my sheet. I'm guessing it can be a pain, since multiple types of "selected" ammo could apply (e.g. if you have "Arrow", "Arrow +1" and "Arrow +2" equipped, which should be used?)... maybe add an entry for each weapon/ammo combination? (In the previous example, show three entries, one for "regular arrow", one for "arrow +1", and a third for "arrow +2")
Yeah it's still an issue. I just tried to make magic ammunition by copying an existing item as well as creating it new. It still has the same problems.

Thank you for reporting this.
Just adding this is the case for ALL ammo.
Ammunition *still* cannot be added as a magic item type.

would be a nice fix because magic ammo is a nice consumable magic item to give not a long term game changer.
Yes please. I posted a new topic because I hadn't seen this one yet. Please add.
This appears to still be an issue almost 3 years out. If there's a reason it's a "won't fix" or non-issue, I'd love to know why! Thanks!
Sadly, they seem more focussed on fluff like the 3D dice. :(
