I'm trying to create an item that changes a number of the player's stats, but only when he/she chooses to use a charge and for 30 minutes. Otherwise the item will be in use as usual without any magical changes. So I pretty much want it "in use" from the inventory at all times, but in the "limited use" section I'd like the player to be able to hit "use" and have the changes take place. I have "has charges" checked, but it doesn't seem to work as I planned in that the effects are always in place while the item is "in use" from inventory. Any ideas here?
