Simply seeking some build advice. My character is a draconic bloodline sorcerer which also made a pact with the the mother of the bloodline. The source of the character's power is an ancient silver dragon that has become infested with an ancient aboleth. The infinite history and psychic abilities of the aboleth have fused with the mind and body of the dragon before it was driven down. The dragon is still a creature of good, but is transformed and traveling through distant realms using the knowledge to hunt other ancient aboleths. I chose to go chain to represent my patron bestowing a piece of her spirit to watch over my character and to work on a secret project involving the other metallic dragons in this realm for into the future.
I want to build a controller based caster and was seeking a little input as to spell selection. I included cold damage spells to reference the silver dragon ancestry's affinity and psychic-ish spells for the aboleth. I know it is not optimal, but I enjoy the character build so far. I stayed away from the "Hold' spell line and opted for spells that controlled/twisted the mind in some way or allowed more versatility because of limited spell selection. I wanted to get Command, so I added Fey touched for that. It was tough because choosing Gift of Alacrity could mean going first and shutting down a potential threat. The character will be at 20 CHR by level 15. There are a lot of 'tax' spells peppered in this list, so please try not to beat me up for those obvious grabs as not being in line with the character. Sorcerer's take some deep planning.
I am trying to see if there are any redundant spell affects that I am missing or other build advice for anyone who has played a controller.

IMHO, Earthdawn is still the best fantasy realm, Shadowrun is the best Sci-Fi realm, and Dark Sun is the best D&D realm.
