I'm making this Thread again because I don't know if this went through last time. I was wondering how I would make a Hunter Guardian from Destiny. I know the starting class would be Warlock since they get their power from the Traveler, but from there I'm kinda lost. Any help would be appreciated.
That the Guardians get their powers from the Traveler doesn't mean they're Warlocks in play terms.
Guardian Warlocks sound more like Tempest or Light Clerics, healing and supporting their allies while using AoE attacks to blow their enemies up.
Guardian Titans are closer to Paladins. High durability and powerful melee.
Guardian Hunters sound more like Rangers. Gloomstalker, since that's the stealthy Ranger (also the only good one).
And a Variant Human, allowing your character to start with a feat, would be the best base for the Guardian in my opinion.
I would argue that D&D's fiend warlock is a good template for Destiny's voidwalker warlock, specifically the fact that they both get health when they kill something. The celestial warlock would also be a decent pick for destiny warlock since they have some healing and support skills.
