Hello all!! I'm a completely new player and have only watched some videos and read up A LOT on D&D and was wondering how my character I made is. I know it's taboo to make a character without knowing what campaign I'm going into, but like I said I'm brand new and thus am not actually getting into a game just yet. The character isn't focused on combat and is more geared towards interactions. I feel like as a new player that's what I would end up doing for the most part on a first campaign seeing as handling challenging combat on a first run would be mean lol.
You should feel comfy to make as many characters as you want, even if you don't have a campaign to play them in! Making characters is one of the most fun parts of D&D, and there's nothing wrong with enjoying the process itself!
Kenku are amazingly fun to roleplay! Do you have an idea how you want to deal with the mimicry? There's plenty of different options and ways to talk as a Kenku!
Playing catch up with Crit Role over the weekend and just got to the swamp bit where they find a Kenku friend (episode 20,21,22 and 23). If you are great with role play this will be brilliant, if you are not role play heavy it might be a pain in the ass for you and the rest of your party. You have no spoken language, you can write stuff down and you can mimic others but that's it. Might be a bit stressy in a dungeon where it's dark and people can't see whats written in your book! Don't get me wrong Kenku looks a whole hell of fun to play, but for me I think it would be a bit much and we are a role play heavy party.

Awakened Mind from "Great Old One" (I chose to package my "Great Old One" (Quintara Lotus), the "Dragon Aspects of Light" pantheon, and my magical aptitude into one bundle) and learning to imitate Dwarvish, Elven, Common, and Infernal (Inquisitor Background) from travels with T'hree (see below). Scribbles is able to speak, but in words formed disjointedly into phrases as if reading them individually.
Scribbles also has the "Wings of Flying" cloak which was used as a swaddle when he was orphaned and learned its words of power from the dying words of his pastor, mentor, and father figure T'hree the albino Grung.
Scribbles might be a bit too meta. I was able to get around not being able to speak and fly. The only thing I couldn't get around was him not having creativity which there really isn't any fix for. To make up for that he's able to write/copy any writing using Inquisitor languages and Comprehend Languages. Illusory Script was also a thing I took on Scribbles so that he can essentially translate anything he is able to write down. As previously mentioned he's able to speak a handful of languages very disjointedly, but he's able to circumnavigate that by using Awakened Mind if need be. This is also only 0-1st level stuff...

Scribbles The Kenku Warlock
Ideally you want charisma to be your highest stat as that is your primary casting stat for a Warlock and then Wisdom or constitution.
What patron/pact are you going for?

Thank you all for the feedback. I've been actually trying to catch up with Crit Role...
