In an upcoming campaign I am participating in, a character concept I am thinking of is a feral tiefling with wings, who is an evocation wizard, and I am looking through the class features and possible feats. One thing I cannot decide on is whether to take Flames of Pthelegos or Infernal Constitution. I might be fire themed, but am not very set on that. I have a 14 con, and a 17 in intelligence with my racial stats already calculated.
Thanks before-hand, and any other suggestions would be appreciated.
I'd say that Flames of Pthelegos is more thematic for what you're describing. It's also numerically better since an odd ability score doesn't provide any benefits.
Both are really good I don't see a reason not to take them both, but probably take FoP first since it will help round out that modifier. IC can help later with defense.

When things don't go your way, declare a K.O. and Dempsey Roll the guy in front.

I usually go with defense first, but I have to agree that the rounding out of your spellcasting modifier should take precedence in this case. When you consider the way you are likely to play the character (from the brief description you gave us) it makes more sense to have Flames of Phlegethos first.
