I was thinking it would be a cool feature for DM’s running campaigns with DnD Beyond to be able to create character sheet ‘templates’ for their players to use in character creation. For instance, add in specific custom skills, specific stat starting arrays, etc. Then, when players use the invite link to the campaign and make their character, they’ll have these options during character creation, the custom skill proficiency options in particular.
For instance, if I wanted to run an Adventures in Middle-Earth game through DnD Beyond, it would be easier for me to add in the custom skills, such as the Riddle or Traditions skills, in the template before my players make their characters. (Unfortunately this wouldn’t work anyway since AME uses similar but altered classes, and I can’t create entire custom classes yet in homebrew options, just subclasses).
Anyway, not sure if this is a feasible option, just thought I’d share the suggestion!

Sorry to Necro this but I agree. Did it ever happen?
I don't think so.
