I agree, I think there should be an option to only use AL legal content, but also have the option to use all UA content. Maybe even allow importing of Home-brewed content through the use of XML files.

"I shall come unto you like a bear whose cubs have been ravished; Like a lion I will devour your children and tear out their entrails; I will set upon you a ferocious beast who will consume you and your flocks; and turn your fields into death."
I agree. But I wonder about the pricing for that. Should they decide to publish the Unearthed Arcana in a separate book or make revisions to the PHB, it makes sense to have it included in the app. It is practically like using homebrew, it gives people a reason to continue using this app (because many other don't include the UA material), and it is a perfect testing ground for new materials.
This would likely belong in the phase 3 campaign management and "Homebrew" content. As UA is still unofficial content in beta. That being said if they publish a set of the UA to official content I'm sure it would be offered here.
I would also like to see UA content here - maybe in Homebrew, maybe in the compendium, but having access to it would be really nice, especially for the purposes of testing the play material.
I've added a request to have a "planned features" post so that we can get more information on what is planned. If you think that it would be useful fell free to bump the post here:
Thank you for that second link - I was unaware that thread existed (these forums seem quite muddled). I was aware advanced content wouldn't be available for beta, but I want the developers to know that this information is desired in the final content.
It looks like you already have a source tag on each item, but I would hope to see a source tag for any item so we can tell at a glance what reference a particular item, spell, monster, etc was referenced from. Particularly, if it is homebrew, I would like to have the ability to reference which campaign world and or DM a content piece came from. hen browsing spells, monsters
When browsing spells, monsters, player races, etc. it would be nice to be able to follow a tree through Homebrew > DMbob > CampaignWilberforce or through Homebrew > CampaignWilberforce > DMbob. This way DM's with multiple campaigns and players that play more than one campaign can keep things straight. Ditto the campaigns that are large enough that multiple people DM different parts of it. Hopefully, this would allow the fun of a new player to a group being able to show off some homebrew content that they had from a previous DM/campaign. If the new DM wanted to adopt it, could just append the new DM's tag and or campaign to the object. I know that you could always search for an item, but you need to know something about what you're searching to actually find it. Browsing was always a good time killer for while the DM was busy with telling the thief the gruesome results of her failed pickpocket attempt.
YES, I agree that access to UA material is a 'must' have feature. I have utilized much of this material in our gaming sessions. I am sure that I will continue to do so in the future.

DM/Player: 37 years.
Longest Running Campaign with the same group of players; 15 years.
Would UA be technically be included as a 'homebrew' option, and then only added in when WOTC releases an updated rule set - maybe code named 'midway :)
I think that WOTC has been careful to indicate that UA rule changes are not part of the core rule set and only really "playtest" type material...

The app should include the options like UA Ranger.

Currently there is only SRD content, they have stated additional content will be added in later phases. Posts for reference:
