I have invented some varied game modes for DnD, but there's a limit to the maxmimum level within DnD beyond that makes it difficult to use this platform with those game modes.
A crutch of 5th ed is the level limit. Hard capped at 20th level, and once you reach 20, there's no growth.
My method, which I'm happy to explain in greater detail for anyone who's interested, will allow for near limitless gaming. What I ask, however, is the ability to remove that level 20 level limit. So could you pretty please add a toggle to leave it on by default or turn it off if you wish?
Honestly, if you're going that far off the beaten path with homebrew, you're going to run into a lot more issues than just the level cap. You're probably better going back to good old pen and paper. You're basically allowing gods from level 21 onwards.
