I've recently started using D&D Beyond's character sheets for online play and am finding the process of dealing damage frustrating for some classes for seemingly no reason. Any class that routinely adds any extra dice to its damage rolls (Sneak Attack for Rogues, Hunters Mark for Rangers, Battle Master Maneuvers, etc) will find themselves needing to constantly navigate the character sheet to add dice rolls that could have easily been added directly under the 'Attack' section given their frequency of use.
For some features (Favored Foe, Sneak Attack), they are listed under the 'Other' section, which may just require you to scroll down to the bottom of the page, but it certainly gets annoying when it needs to be done every turn. However some modifiers (Hunter's Mark) require you to change tabs to the 'Spells' section, despite no additional spells needing to be cast on subsequent turns. Worse is that some features (Colossus Slayer, all damage dealing Battle Master Maneuvers) don't even have dedicated roll buttons! Instead they require you to manually roll extra die, which is a massive oversight for a class feature.
The 'Other' section is important for keeping the text of what certain class features do, but for the act of rolling for damage, I don't see why those buttons can't be in a place that does not require excess scrolling (or changing tabs, in the case of spells that modify attack damage). Even a basic mock up like this shows how it could be more efficient to keep the damage rolls on the same part of the screen:
There will always be situations where players will need to navigate the character sheet or roll extra dice for obscure features, but there has to be a more convenient solution for core class features that some classes use as a part of every attack action.
As a side note, there really needs to be a more convenient way of rolling advantage/disadvantage on mobile than doing long presses and then multiple taps. I tried including a toggle up the top of the mock up, but perhaps a 'always roll at advantage/disadvantage' option like roll20 would be better? I'm also realising that with a mock up presented above, a 'Critical hit' toggle would also make things easier on mobile, so that a player who lands a critical hit on an attack with several extra dice (e.g. A rogue/ranger landing a Sneak Attack with Hunter's Mark and Colossus Slayer) wouldn't have to do multiple hold presses for each part of the damage.
Not sure if this type of feedback is all that useful, but it just seemed like there are some (hopefully easy?) solutions to problems that some players likely encounter on a frequent basis.

There is a lot of functionality on the website that hasn't yet been implemented into the app itself. There is actually even an explicit call for users to suggest and vote on "the functionality of the character sheet itself that is available on the web but not in the app" in the Mobile App Character Sheet Features Portal. One example of this web functionality not yet in the app is the ability to sort in the Actions pane by actual Attacks only:
However some modifiers (Hunter's Mark) require you to change tabs to the 'Spells' section, despite no additional spells needing to be cast on subsequent turns.
Another piece of web functionality not yet implemented in-app is the ability to customize spells, which allows them to be displayed as attacks:
Doing this on web actually does actually allow these spells to be displayed in the Actions pane in the app!
I'll pass along both of these requests for mobile app functionality.
Worse is that some features (Colossus Slayer, all damage dealing Battle Master Maneuvers) don't even have dedicated roll buttons! Instead they require you to manually roll extra die, which is a massive oversight for a class feature.
You're right that some of these subclass features don't currently have the damage able to be displayed as attacks. I'll pass that feedback along to the appropriate team!
In the meantime, you may have noticed in the above screenshots that Colossus Slayer is available to roll as an attack. I accomplished this by creating a homebrew copy of the Hunter subclass and editing the Colossus Slayer option's action to include its damage rolls and allow it to display as an attack. However, there's an easier way to do this! This again can only currently be done on web, and not in the app, but will display in-app once set up. In the Actions pane, click Manage Custom, then under Add New Actions in the newly expanded sidebar, choose General. Click on the newly created Custom Action 1, and expand the Edit pane.
From there, fill in the following:
Dice Count: 1 Die Type: 8 Activation Type: Special
Check Display as Attack, and give it the appropriate name.

I will pass along this feedback as well! Thank you again for such a thorough feedback post. I hope some of the above helps in the meantime. :)
Halfwing, your tip helped me SO much! I not only used this trick so Colossus Slayer is a rollable attack, but I'm using it for a weapon that does both piercing and radiant damage. I simply duplicated it with the appropriate info for each; I have to push two roll buttons for that attack, but it's way better than manually rolling the extra die.

There is a LOT of good feedback here! I'll try to address every point, if possible.
