I was making a homebrew creation that I had already spent HOURS making, and then I had accidentally closed out of it. And it made me very, very frustrated (and I still am frustrated). This is happened various times with my homebrew creations, and I'm sure it's happened to other people. I know of course I can't do anything to get my progress back, but I do think D&D Beyond should do something to make sure this doesn't happen to anybody again. The solution? An auto save function. To insure no one's progress gets lost, just program the homebrew system to auto save every couple of minutes. And, if anybody (for some reason) doesn't like the auto save function, make it optional. I wanna see everybody else thinks about this idea. Also, sorry if somebody already made thread like this.
