I would just like to check if I have done something wrong, but the player's map for Dwarven Excavation shows all the secret doors? Isn't this a bit counterproductive?
DDB gets their player maps from WotC and hosts them unedited. Every map that has secret doors, traps, or patrol routes of enemies leaves them in the player version.
I suggest using dungeon fog (revelling the dungeon a little at a time) or editing the image to account for this.

On other maps of the same adventure (for example Gnomengarde) the secret doors ARE NOT displayed on the player versions. Did they just use the wrong map in "Dwarven Expeditions"?
I don't know what to tell you about their consistency, other than that they don't have much (seriously, WotC is a hot mess in terms of quality control).
Gnomengarde is definitely how all player maps should be though.
Has WotC said anything about fixing these maps it’s odd a starter set with multiple maps of the player versions show the secret doors Icepire Hold ,Woodland manse, and the dotted line around the secret door on Dragon Barrow all draws attention on player maps making a whole lot of work for the DM especially new DMs as well as the Dwarven Excavation map? I find it odd this has yet to be fixed.
After not seeing this issue fixed I wrote to WotC hopefully something gets fixed I guess they are reviewing if they are going to fix the product I surehope so because as it is anyone that uses the maps has to edit out the secret doors on the maps.Hopefully the more that players let WotC know the product needs to be fixed especially a starter set.
