Good on you for getting through inktober! I usually make it to the 3rd or 4th day then give up. Love the grey tones!
Better than me. I got bored on day one and convinced myself "It doesn't matter if I do this now, I do this all the time anyways" (spoiler alert: I don't do it all the time anyways).

Do not expect people to be smart, but do not allow them to be stupid. If there is one thing I have learned it is this.

When I did it back in 2015, it took me a week before I felt comfortable continuing with it, eventually became a 'I already got this far, might as well keep going'. Now I feel fairly comfortable using Pens and Inks. Check out my work if you want, links in the signature!

Yeah, this last year had a few gaps but I really tried to do it as much as I could. And I got a set of grey markers earlier in the year so I wanted to make them a major part of the sketches last year. Might revisit it again this year too.
anachronistic anarcha-feminist punk trans girl wild elf ranger/archer, her name is Ilyòthearn! I commissioned this last year for a pic of my Bhaalspawn in Baldur's Gate for a fun anarchist (or as close to anarchist as I could get lmao) playthrough of the games
I love seeing everyone else's art! My D&D characters have become some of my favourite subjects recently.
Here are the 3 characters I tend to switch between:
Razan Al Shaheed (L) a lawful evil Trickster Cleric who comes from a cult that reveres madness and steals children to populate the cult. Rashnu ad-Dajjal (C) is an Eldritch Knight former Gladiator who likes playing the hero. She's been mostly stuck in Barovia with her merry band of ladies, and on top of flirting with every attractive person she sees, though she and Rasia, the Gur Sybil are now a thing. So she's gotta learn to curb the flirting hahaha. Drowned River Valley aka Ria (R) is a Colossus Slaying Ranger who never speaks in clear, decisive answers, much to the dismay of his party. "Do you see anything up there, Ria?" "Maybe not." "What happened to our horses?" "There's a chance they might have been stolen." "Did you see who did it?" "Who's to say?"
Rashnu is the one I play most, so she's gotten a fullbody pic out of everyone hahaha
And this is not my art, but Rashnu's merry band of ladies, who we have affectionately named Team Ladybits was drawn by my friend, the Half-Orc in this photo:
Already posted these in the Eberron thread in the Story & Lore forum, but I realized these fit here in this thread.
I commissioned a good friend of mine to do art of the characters from a 3+ year long 3.5 Eberron campaign, and while their guild changed over the years (some PCs died, other PCs for very good RP reasons had to leave the group and the players rolled up new characters, etc), the Sharn-based Uxthurirl, or The Platinum Brotherhood in Draconic (literally "Platinum Comrades" actually, which I liked better, but the players liked the former better than the latter and it was their call since it was their guild), was and remains the group of characters nearest and dearest to my heart because everyone was such a dang good roleplayer in that group (and also because it was the largest group of players I ever DM'd, averaging 7-8 players throughout the campaign and topping out, at one point, at 10 players! normally a DM's logistical nightmare, but actually a dream because they were such good RPers). First pic is from the first arc of the campaign, the other is from 3 years later around the second to last arc-ish.
Without further ado...Uxthurirl of Sharn!

My tabaxi bardlock. He's 15 and was raised in a circus. I have him currently obsessed over a fake character called 'Monk Forest', and he really wants to meet him.
I also drew this with adobe illustrate draw and a stylus ink pen on my phone.

Woody All-in, her deceased wood elf lover.
The art posted so far is so lovely. I hope I'll be able to post some of my little darlings some day.

I tend to do a lot of my sketches at the table during a game, or when I'm stuck in long meetings or presentations.
