Hi - I am trying to add a "bite attack" to one of my player's character sheets based on the UE Dhampir, that says attack is a natural weapon for d20+con+prof, damage is 1d4 piercing. And no#charges=CON mod.
Tried 2 ways - first one is a homebrew item, based on Dagger weapon, can't for the life of me figure out how to add the above attack/damage to the weapon...Specifically adding CON+prof as the attribute to add to the attack and flat d4 to the damage. Messed around with the modifiers, made it worse. Items don't update quite real time so I have to give it more than a few minutes to see if it worked...
Second option - I quickly and very WYSIWYG - I've added a custom attack from the actions tab, which works and does almost all I need it, BUT has the downsides of : 1-cannot add charges which I kinda need, and 2 - I've put the "STAT" as CON, and it adds it to the attack roll, but also to the damage, which I don't want.
Can anyone give me some insight on how to work this out ? Thanks.

My recommendation is to create a copy of the Dhampir to see how it was implemented.

there is an issue with how it is handled there as well - but from what I can see, adding it as a custom feat seems like having the most options...
