I am using a Blood Hunter in a Westmarch that is from the Lycan Order. When I transform into Hybrid Form, I have this feature:
Resilient Hide. You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks not made with silvered weapons. Additionally, while you are not wearing heavy armor, you have a +1 bonus to AC.
My character is wearing plate armor so this feature should not apply however DnDBeyond is still adding the extra AC to my total. Is the feature not being filtered out when the person is wearing heavy armor? Or otherwise filters out the feature when any of the armor pieces that constitute heavy armor (plate, splint, chain mail, scale mail)?
My guess is that either (a) the devs forgot to code the Resilient Hide ability as being "turned off" by Heavy Armor, and/or (b) Mariners Plate is erroneously not registering as being Heavy Armor
Possibility (b) should be easy enough for the devs to fix. Possibly (a) is probably fixable too; it may depend on how spaghettified the backend is and whether doing so would break anything else, but the sheets already recognize Heavy Armor as a distinct subclass of armor so it should be possible.
That said, I would temper your expectations. I think the devs have a lot on their Plate at the moment, and there are things like this that we were told three years ago were on the roadmap to be fixed that still aren't fixed.
