Hi, this could be a very stupid question but i am new to this. I have previously bought single items from the players handbook (the school of necromancy to be specific) but now im trying to see what is in tashas cauldron of everything and cant seem to see whats included let alone buy single things from it. is the buying singlle items thing only an option with TPH? any help would be amazing.
WotC wants more of your money. They ended the a la carte sales option. If we want a single feat or spell from any source we need to buy the whole book. Thanks for working so hard to keep the game accessible to the masses, WotC!
my wife got me into D&D we scrolled through races and classes. fell in love with the idea of characters we made and bought 2 classes and 2 feats from different books. if the only option was to buy 4 full books for 8% of content we would not have bought anything. This is a bad change.

My wife got me into this many years ago. Monkey king fan. Sneak fan. Storyteller.
I essentially did the exact same thing. I bought quite a few individual items, feats, classes, etc over the past year. Wouldn't have spent a dime otherwise.
Yeah, this is a huge bummer and greedy decision on Hasbro's part. I'm planning on wrapping up this campaign in the next few months and then canceling my subscription. Project Sigil looks interesting and I love dndbeyond for remote play, but it's time to go back to pen and paper.

Yeah, imagine the nerve of a company to want to make money on their possessions. What a bunch of a-holes.
I'm not saying they don't deserve their money, but buying allocart is whaf swtt dndbeyond apart and they removed an amazing feature because they wanted even more money.
All that said i can just homebrew the content I need so not a huge deal.
