Hello. I login using my Apple ID. I changed the email address on my Apple ID a couple months ago. This site, however, is still showing my Apple ID as using the old email address which I am no longer using. Why is this site showing incorrect information for my Apple ID? Should I be concerned about being able to access my content since it is using the wrong email address to log me in with my Apple ID? Also, how long does it take them to respond to support tickets. I opened one about this but it has been a few days with no reply.
Can you log in with your appleid despite the email address mismatch? If you're currently logged in and don't want to risk logging out, try logging in with your appleid from an anonymous tab. If it works, then the wrong email address is just stale data on DDB.
For safety's sake, you might also want to add a second login account.
Support may be able to fix the email address, but they are usually quite slow. (Likely understaffed.)
I can still log in, but because of the log in the site is exclusively using an outdated email address for me. One I no longer use. And I can't find any way to change that. I even just clicked the option to change account under my Apple ID on D&D Beyond's account page and logged in using the new and current email address aaaaand D&D Beyond is still showing the old email address I no longer use. Which because it is my login is also the email address they use for all notifications and correspondence. Which is a problem since I don't use it anymore. And since we cancelled the service through which I had that email address, I don't know if I could completely lose access to it at any time.
Contact support about changing the email address. They are not fast. (Understaffed and they also get a lot of email when people are Unhappy with DDB, and there's currently a lot of those.)
Meanwhile, I suggest that you attach another account from a different provider. (Make a WotC account if you don't wanna deal with any of the others.) This gives you a backup way to login in case something goes awry with your appleid. Once that's set up and confirmed to work, you can (if you're feeling brave) try disconnecting your appleid from your DDB account entirely, then try adding it again, but you should probably wait on support before trying that.
