As the title states, when I try to create a new character, for some reason I can't select the chronurgy magic arcane tradition, even though my character is level 2, I own the guide book, and I have Critical Role allowed. Am I doing anything wrong?
If you bought stuff through the app, it will take a while to become available. If you bought stuff through the website, it should be immediately available.
Double check your entitlements, and make sure they are in sync.
Wizards currently do not have all classes available. I have multiple characters with these Critical Role subclasses as well, and under the new rules, those subclasses are missing entirely. Only the new subclasses, the legacy schools that were not updated from the PHB, and Bladesinging, Order of Scribes and War Magic are still there.
Everything is enabled the Character Preferences, and the licenses for sure works, because the options are clearly available on 2014 Wizards.

Also try logging out and then back in.

3rd Party classes are still in the process of being updated and re-licensed for compatibility with the 2024 phb.
