Hope this gets fixed soon!!! My character can't access either.
Copy the spells you need via homebrew. This isn't something that's a priority to be fixed because it's not a bug, it's just a case of a non-core class not getting core updates.

What I ended up doing with my DM is made a Copy of my Background, and under "Additional Spell list" like the Strixhaven and Ravnica Backgrounds have. I added the 2024 versions of the Artificer Spells, so I can select them as my Artificer.
Simply looked up "Artificer" class in the spells, and went through and added all the ones that got updated or modified in 2024 Rules
That's a nice fix but it should be priority, its also not hard to fix.
Priority is broken things. Paladin subclass spells, Monk damage die for 2014 getting split from the 2024 Monk die, etc. Their priority isn't on a class that didn't get updates.

Many of us consider *this* broken, so priority is a matter of point of view.
I don't play a paladin or monk, so to *me* those aren't necessary fixes... see how that works? You don't need to keep posting here that this isn't a priority, thanks.

You don't seem to get it. Broken means it doesn't function. Paladin subclass spells aren't showing up as prepared like they should. Monk damage die for the 2014 class is showing the wrong die. Artificer simply isn't updated for a book where it was never supposed to be updated. Much different, no matter how much your bias says otherwise.
my bad workaround that currently only works for non subclass was adding a custom spell list to my background. To fix the subclass always prepared spells I think you have to homebrew the subclass and add the new spells there.
Same issue. My DM doesn't want to switch to the new rules yet due to us being mid run, but likes the new healing spells and told us all to use them. However, as an Artificer/wizard and cure wounds being granted from the Artificer list I can't change to the 2024 spell. Would be nice to not have to homebrew my spell list if I don't have to.
It's nice that you care so much for paladins and monks, but maybe don't step on the toes of the underrepresented. The thread is for Artificers, I'm sure there's 50 threads crying about paladins and monks.
I think you can tick the box „consumes spell slots“ in the feat. Hope this helps, if u didn’t already figure this out. Though I do hope we get a proper fix.
So, I've been playing around with this a little bit. My current work around is that by clicking on "allow legacy" in the character creation tool, it allows you to still build your Artificer using the 2024 rule set while still having access to legacy spells and equipment. This lets you set your stats using Background and still have access to epic boons at level 19.

Right, but our issue is that when doing this, you still cannot access the 2024 versions of any spells, only the Legacy 2014 versions.
This bug has already been fixed at least three days ago, but the subclass specific spells are still the legacy versions and I don't think wotc will be changing that one at all.

This is broken for me as well.
To those saying tis not a bug or isnt an issue. its meant to be backwards compatible ... this is broken as its not backwards compatible!
Same here. Please fix this
bumping for visibility. this needs to be fixed!

This needs to get sorted.

How is this fixed? I only can access legacy spells under "manage spells".
