When I first start making a character it's fine, but at some point in making the character, 13ish feats dissappear from the available options and nothing I do brings them back. Making a new character brings them back but they will dissappear again after a while. This has happened on multiple characters in multiple campaigns today.

Below are the feats I've noticed missing:

Athlete, Charger, Crossbow Expert, Defensive Duelist, Dual Weilder, Grappler, Great Weapon Master, Keen Mind, Polearm Master, Sentinel, Sharpshooter, Skulker, Speedy

I have also noticed Elemental Adept and War Caster were gone at least once but they never disappeared again.

These feats all have level and ability score prerequisites (at least, the 2024 versions of them do). Does your character meet all the prerequisites for these?

Assuming it is due to missing prerequisites: if you go on your sheet to Features & Traits -> Feats -> Manage Feats, you should see an "Unavailable Feats" section at the bottom. That section should include those feats along with an explanation of why your character doesn't qualify.

Yes the character meets the requirements. I've tried at every level ASI's show up and even had Sentinal selected before they went missing. But when I noticed the others were gone again, I unselected it to see if it would still be there or if it would be gone like last time and it was indeed gone.

I've made over 400 characters over 6 or more years and I've never had this problem before.

I'm hoping all this "routine maintenance" they have had lately fixes it.

So I checked today and they seem to be working fine now. But to address your questions:

Yes I have the new and old PHBs myself AND I'm in a campaign with the DM sharing content who owns them both as well.

My only guess was that dnd beyond was not recognizing that I met the prerequisites for these feats for some reason, even though I had the ability scores for them. But I tried last night and again this morning and it seems to be working fine again.
