I've created "Gloves of Dexterity", something I found online  (Click here for original page)

I've got a screenshot here, of how I've applied the dexterity bonus, as per the description. (Click here for "Edit" screenshot showing the modifier)

Added a Modifier: Bonus - Ability Checks
Primary Stat: Dex
Fixed value: 2

So that should add 2 to my Dexterity when it's checked as "Active", right?  But my Dex score remains the same...

 It needs to give "Bonus - Dexterity Score" instead of "Bonus - Ability Checks"

You're only going to receive the +2 during Dex ability checks with this item.  See attached for reference

Ah thank you! I see - I had the wrong setting.  There are quite a few of those to choose from!  Very glad to have this working now.
