The ability to add feats as a part of a subclass is very flawed. so far i have only been able to get it to allow me one and the only way is to select the "choose a feat" option under the add modifier option. Doing this gives you two drop-down boxes in the character builder, the first of which only has the option of "choose a feat", while the second one functions as it should (as the feat option in the variant human does. I even went so far as to copy the options from the variant human copy I made, (the copy only gave one drop-down that functioned normally), but this did not change things for my subclass. Also, adding a second, identical modifier under the same class feature does not grant an additional feat option in the builder as it should, again doing this with my copy of the human variant yields the desired results, a second feat choice.
Hopefully this can help guide some of the troubleshooting and expedite the patching process. My opinion is that it has something to do with how the feats on the modifier page of the subclass homebrew tool is configured.
Thank you for providing a fantastic tool for a fantastic community.
If you are adding more then one feat at a time, you have to create a CLASS FEATURE per feat. Dont tree them in one "Feature" they mess up if you do so. I Made mine look like this, Same Level. Then i just didnt pick a "display number on the additional feat"

It has been a while since I messed with this modifier, but I didn't have these issues.
Post a link to your homebrew (you dont have to publish it) so mods can check it.
