I am altering the Assassin stat block and when I go to save my changes it tells me that my changes can not be saved. Only issue is it won't tell me why? Curious if there is a reason. the only things I have changed are that I gave the assassin a name, altered some info in both the special traits descriptions and the attack description. I have done stuff like this before and have not had this issue yet. Any advice?
I've double-checked everything that has a red asterisk and they are all filled out. I even went through all fields and reentered the info just in case. no luck.
Thank you! What is the message exactly that you're receiving when you try to save it, which you mention in the initial post? If you are able to, could you copy and paste the message, or take a screenshot to share here?
So I've started over with the assassin block and was successful in modifying that, but now I am having the same issue with modifying the mage stat block. I'm having a hard time posting a pic, but it brings up a window at the top of my browser (Chrome):
Leave site?
Changes you made may not be saved.
edit: I am able to save my changes if I cancel out of editing and start over.

What button gives you a prompt with that message?
That message would occur typically if you were pressing a non-save state button. For example, trying to add languages, senses, or a speed before saving.
If I am allowed? I am receiving the same message as OP, but I am in race creation all fields with “*” are filled in and I had a lot of fun with it. But when I click “add a racial trait” it gives me the message and does not allow me to proceed. Is there a work around or have I (not) done something?

Save Changes before you add something like a trait, otherwise it'll lose what you put into the Basic Information etc. fields.

Found out what the problem might be after running into it and testing a few things.
First, you do need to fill out all fields with a red asterisk BUT you also need to fill out these fields with more than just 1 letter. I think it has to do with a non-visible spam protection filter that stops people from creating clutter in the public homebrew browser. I used placeholder sentences in all red asterisks fields while testing this out and my homebrew creations now save as expected. Hopefully this can help anyone who runs into this problem in the future and finds this thread.
To staff, I think people are running into this issue when creating templates for themselves and leaving placeholder text that doesn't meet a minimum length requirement for the saving. It might be helpful to add a "minimum text" note somewhere so people can be aware of this. Loving your website by the way, just don't others to spend a lot of time and suffer this bug! [:

For future people that have issues with this form the above is the core of the solution. They put the save changes button in the middle of form, but somehow tied both forms to it in terms of changes. If you make changes to one form you must save before making changes to the other. It's unintuitive and weird since the button should be at the bottom, but it's because they wanted to have whole new forms for languages, senses, skills, and movement rather than easy to use checkboxes. I find the additional forms even weirder because they don't allow custom entries like homebrew languages in that part of the form. For a site that's generally well done the homebrew UI UX is really lacking.

Hello there, can you ensure that every field with a red asterisk is filled in?
