As the title says - I can't seem to view the tooltips for the dice roller. On Firefox they're giving me the loading circle but they never load and on chrome nothing happens at all - not even a loading circle.

The forum's roll system, where you use tags similar to {roll} 1d20 {/roll}, appears to be malfunctioning again.

New rolls can be created, and display properly. But when you hover over them to see what dice were used to generate the number, there's just a spinning circle of red. No pop-up shows up. This seems to be occurring both with newly-created rolls, and rolls that were created before the incident that caused the system to break.

If this is similar to the last time the system broke, then at some point within the last 12 hours, someone posted some unexpected, elaborate or otherwise unusual calculation with the roll system, and that unexpected calculation is the culprit causing this.

I am getting this as well, as are my players.

Hovering your mouse cursor over dice rolls results in a never-ending loading symbol in the forums. It no longer displays the details of the rolls. Other pop up/tooltips work fine.

I checked and it is not just an issue in one device or just for one user.

When trying to double check some of my players dice rolls yesterday and today, I just get a refresh or loading circle when hovering the mouse over the roll. After talking to a friend and finding out that he was having the same problem, I decided to make a post here. Hopefully this can be resolved in the next few days.

Usually when I hover over the rolls in PbP, it will show up with extra info.  But for the last couple of days, it just shows a "loading" symbol.  Is there a known issue?

Yeah I have noticed the same. I have again tested the main browsers to see if the issue was with Firefox or my own connection and the results remained the same.

There's another thread about this.   It's a glitch/bug and staff have been alerted.

 Actually, I apparently missed what thread I was on.  See MellieDM's post a few posts above mine, in which they say the team has been alerted.  That's the post I meant.

You didn't. I imagine Mellie or another mod merged the posts.

EDIT: As commented below, this issue is already known.

When I mouse over a dice roll, I can't see the elements of that roll like I used to be able to. All I see is the red DDB loading wheel.

For example: 25 I can see that the total is 21, but I can't see that it's a d20 roll with advantage and a +7 bonus.

It's fine, and I'm sure they'd rather know who is experiencing the issue rather than not.

I'm just pointing out there is an active thread for it and posting there may be best to keep it all in one place. And letting you know they're aware, so you're not waiting for a response that's already been made.
