The character doesnt allow for higher level warlocks to replace their lower tier invocations with more level relevant invocations. According to the PHB it should work differently. I was under the impression you could swap one out once you met the prerequisite level.
At 2nd level, you gain two eldritch invocations of your choice. Your invocation options are detailed at the end of the class description. When you gain certain warlock levels, you gain additional invocations of your choice, as shown in the Invocations Known column of the Warlock table.
Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the invocations you know and replace it with another invocation that you could learn at that level.
I asked Jeremy Crawford about how the rules should work for this as a strict RAW makes no 'level' that the sentence could unambiguously be referring to.
anyway yeah the level requirement or swapped rituals is the current level and this is correct. you can 'upgrade' old invocations to higher level once per level, works the same as swapping one spell each level.
#2 Warlock Bug, Hex Warrior Class Feature isn't supported by the tool. I can't select my weapon as a pact weapon or modify it's ATTK/DMG rolls to use charisma.

You can go into the attacks and adjust the attack bonus and damage, but it does not autocalculate.

The invocation issue should be corrected now with the latest update. Previously it would restrict you to invocations you could only learn at the level you learned the invocation, but after clarification we've updated it to it's correct interpretation, that is, being invocations that you can learn at the current level of your warlock.
Better support for the Hex Warrior feature is definitely on our list. Workaround for now would be creating a custom attack, which we know isn't ideal.

Kind of in the same vein, Do Eldritch Invocations (Thirsting Blade for example) not adjust your character sheet stats (show up as you having 2 attacks instead of 1? I may be missing something as I"m new to Beyond, just looking to see what I can find.

Really annoying "bug", as we can't write down a legal basic character, when it seems like were well past this in development overall.
This bug is all the more obnoxious now that Xanathar's is out and there are some really great new invocations. Fix please?
Yup, would be great if this could get fixed. I want to try out a Bladelock in our new game, but can't set the invocations I'd like currently.
I can go into the character edit and re-selct invocations. Not sure what you're speaking of not being able to change them?
Edit Character > Class > Class Features > Eldritch Invocations > drop downs.
Edit: nevermind, I see what the issue is. And agreed it should be fixed.

Agreed that XGtE makes this higher priority.
Such a bummer that I can't build a Hexblade warlock properly. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Thanks for the response!
I'll try a custom attack for now.
