Quick question. I have updated a homebrew magic item's description and saved, but it the description is not updating in my player's inventory. I have tried removing the weapon from their equipment and readding it, but it still maintains the old description.
I've found some issues with things being cached and it taking a while, or even duplicates showing up in the character sheet page. Sometimes upping the version number resets the cache.
But I have also run into this too and other homebrew problems.
The link you've provided is returning a 404 which suggests its been deleted or renamed. If you can provide a new link that would be a big help potentially figuring out if there's an error somewhere. But in the interim:
If the homebrew item isn't published, this can be caused by caching; it can take several minutes for the change to propagate to any character sheet services.
If the homebrew item was originally published and you've made a new version, you'll need to do the following:
Ensure you're publishing the updated version
Remove the previous version from your collection
Ensure the new version is in your collection
Remove the old version from the character sheet (this will be the version you previously made)

Thanks for the help!
Have you updated the version number?

This is a very annoying issue and needs to be fixed.
Upping the version number does not solve this for me.
