I am new to DnD and a friend helped me build my Char Sheet but we ran into and issue and cant figure out why i cant pick this feat.
I made a Human Variant Fighter with archery as his fighting style. but for some reason it will not let me pick sharpshooter for my feat. Does anyone know what would cause that.
The sharpshooter feat is not one of the feats that is available for free. You would need to have purchased the feat (which could mean buying the whole book, or just the feat, or all the feats as a pack). Though honestly I wouldn't pay for the sharpshooter feat, if that's all you need to buy. It doesn't have any effect on the character sheet right now, other than to put the text of the feat in the 'features' tab. If you own the PHB you can just homebrew the feat by writing the text into the description.
