This isn't as simple as you think. It's not affecting everyone. I've tried Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge and Opera and have tried on my laptop, my phone and my xbox and using two different ISPs - i've tried using 2 different VPN services and without using any, I've tried with 2 different Adblockers and without, and I've tried with extensions and without.I've tried on every homebrew screen (every box and option on such).
I've not been able to replicate this error at all. Not even a hint of an issue.
If this was just a simple error in the HTML then this would affect every user of the website indiscriminately. That would be an easy fix. But it's not. It's only affecting some, and not others. They have to investigate why in order to find out what is actually causing the issue and how to fix it. This takes time. Please be patient.
Ah ok 👌 this is just me assuming it was a simple problem(no idea of that HTML and those things)

Stop whining so much about an extremely minor issue. Yes, it's annoying. But before berating the developers here, why don't take the time and read for the different fixes others have offered? Stop assuming that the devs "don't care about us". The world does not, and certainly neither does the site, revolve around you. It has already been posted that the issue has been taken to the tech wizards. They are working on it, so stop berating on them.
This issue is still happening and it appears to happen to people at different times. I have made hundreds of homebrew over the last year or so and never had this issue. Starting just yesterday the banner appeared in front of the sections about midway down. Completely blocks what ever area happens to be behind it. It seems happens on subclasses only. I seems to happen when i go into the class features to edit it that feature spans more than the screen displayed. As soon as i scroll down the banner appears and blocks that area.
One fix is to just hide the HTML portion of the footer using inspect. On some tools and browsers, this could be permanent until you manually revert the change, and in others it only lasts until you reload the page. So it works, but be careful.
I'm seeing some people trying to fix it by zooming in or out, which is yucky. I'm reposting this fix and explaining it better, which will work on any pc browser that allows you to inspect. Mobile people, I'm sorry; I'm not invested enough to find a fix for you.
Just right click on the footer banner and click Inspect element. On the window that pops up, you'll find yourself in an element of the banner. Scroll up a couple of lines (like three or five, at most) until you see a line that says <footer id="footer">. It should be the ONLY line in this entire mess of HTML code, so you literally can't confuse it for something else. Right click on it and click on Hide element. You'll see the banner disappear. It should come back when you reload the page, so don't worry.
This fix is not permanent, which is good for less tech-savvy users so they don't permanently lose the footer banner. More tech-savvy users will know how to permanently hide it and bring it back at will. Otherwise, you can repeat the same steps and clicking on Hide element again will unselect the option. You will have to repeat this every time you reload the page (if you need to edit the description or whatever it's blocking; if not, then don't bother).
This is definitely an issue the D&DB needs to fix, but it is by no means an life-or-death issue. Just a minor annoyance.
EDIT: This whole thing should work on any Chromium browser exactly as I described. Which is a lot of browsers out now: Chrome, Edge, Opera, etc.
I am trying to make a new subclass, but one of the subclass features doesn't work, and when I go into the subclass feature creation page. The bottom of the page where it shows the Quick links, Support, and Follow Us. Is showing up in the middle of the page, I restarted my device and it still is appearing in the center of the page. I do believe that this is a bug because this has never happened before
Huge tip that helps you, other users, and the mod/dev team: Read the rest of the thread before posting replies. This way you know what's going on and you can provide insightful information or avoid clogging up the thread.
It’s a pain in the @$$, but by zooming your browser view out and back in you can keep moving it up and down so you can still access everything... eventually. 🙄
Hey, it happens that i can´t save my homebrew classes anymore, i dont know when it happend. Tried internet explorer and firefox, at the moment i´m using Opera. As you can see on the picture the DnD Beyond banner is blocking my save button.
I hope you can help me, maybe i´m just to stupid to see the obvious

Reposting this so people can find it on page 5

So is this fixed now? I just went in to do some custom stuff and it's not there anymore. Anyone else still having issues?
I just experienced the same thing. It does in fact appear to be fixed it seems.
