We're playing 5e through Discord & Avrae. Players are very experienced with a minimum of 10+ years apiece, characters are lvl 8.
We've climbed the steep Avrae learning curve and have gotten pretty good at running combat with it BUT here's what happened:
Party was to be swarmed by 30+ Kobolds, so I added those to combat with !i madd kobold -n 30 -group kobolds
Then, the first party member in initiative entered !i attack warhammner -t kobolds, and it tagged a hit ON EVERY KOBOLD and she killed them all in one swing!
Clearly, it's not supposed to happen that way. I wanted her to hit 1 per attack, but Avrae doesn't see it that way.
So, the way Avrae handles targeting in groups is that if you target the group (-t kobolds), it expands that out as if you wanted to target the ENTIRE group (-t ko1 -t ko2 -t ko3...).
If you only want to target one individual target, you should -t a specific target (`-t ko1).
The reason she does this is to aid in mass targeting for spells such as Fireball or Mass Healing Word, so that you don't have to piecemeal out which combatants you want to target.
OK, so here's the situation:

Any suggestions what I'm missing?
Hey there!

Hope this helps!
