I would humbly request a new feature for MAPS. I would like the ability to add a text overlay. The specific scenario I am trying to address is that I have a map (The town of Phandalin). My players will not know which buildings are which, as we can see in the DM map. I would like to be able to label each building as my players ask around and find out which one is which.
Please reach out to me for more suggestions if this is helpful. I work in software development myself, so I very much respect the push/pull of what you guys are doing.
Thank you for a great product and congrats on moving to Beta!

Until this is addressed, I suggest adding shape overlays over any building you wish to highlight for the players. Then, add patterns/status effects will be added to indicate what the building is used for. For example, the leaf/healing status can be used for an herbalism shop.
I wish you could attach a textbox popup to the overlays so you can add your own notes. It would need the option to "show players" and/or allow players to hover over the overlay to expose the popup.
