Weapon and armor weights seem right on, but other items seem quite off. Seven pounds for a sleeping roll? Five-pound backpack (empty)? Seems a bit high. Ten pounds for 50' of hemp rope? 6mm of 50' hemp rope on Amazon has a shipping weight of four ounces. I know the items in D&D are not made of modern materials, but still, that seems high. Rations seem a bit heavy in that they are rations and not normal table food. My 1st level characters with basic starting equipment easily run upward of 100lbs, my fighters easily surpass 100lbs. I'm a veteran and my gear in Afghanistan (minus rucksack/backpack) topped out at 65lbs, and trust me folks, that is heavy after a full day of wear. This is the stuff we are supposedly schlepping around to adventure in at over 100lbs seems heavy to me.
(Didn't see this anywhere else)
