In my current campaign I am running (just started last saturday actually) I am going to have a gang that is all witches (fey pact warlocks) who are lead by a hag named Baba Zorya, originally I was going to use a Bheur Hag to represent Baba Zorya but I've decided to use Auril The Frostmaidens 1st form instead. Obviously this character is inspired by Baba Yaga and I actually have a similar character in each of my campaign settings which are in different dimensions (in my lore they're all sisters), I would like to give her Baba Yaga's Mortar and Pestle from TCOE (in my mind each of the Baba sisters would have their own) and am trying to discern if it would make her too powerful since I know that Auril herself is a very powerful NPC. However at first glance the Mortar&Pestle adds a lot of utility for the user but not much in the way of damage (If a creature is alive for Primal Parts im just going to require half their movement to escape) so to my mind it wouldn't really affect her CR that much. Would this add to much to the character or should I be fine?
As a side note this NPC is ment to be a possible Ancient Being Patron for the group and isn't intended to be an enemy they fight UNLESS they activly go after her or really make her angry.
Doesn't seem like it would actually be a problem, especially if there's a low chance that the party will actually come into conflict with the character.
