They've tried several times to rejoin and they had no post history in there at all. I can have them try again but it says this user has been banned. She posted no links, no messages, nothing.
That is good info and I would reach out to discord for an answer. Have your friend contact them and you can be there to offer support and provide info as well.
Some things that may be important, What country are is your friend from?, does the IP have a history of spam?, is it a simple tec platform purge and they have some wrong parameters?, etc.
When I was a mod on another platform we did block IP's and accounts for many reasons and it is possible but improbable that an IP could be issued to a new person that was held by a spammer/hacker/etc.
So the best course is unfortunately be patient and contact customer support.
I’ve seen something like that before in the D&D discord with another person and then myself. No posting listed but someone banned. My remarks, which were about the general state of the game, peeved a moderator because he didn’t agree with me having thoughts and feelings of my own, so i somehow got called a discriminator. Everything in my case was literally wiped off the discord so there was no listed posting of our conversation, including most of what they said to me. I was ultimately banned for appealing it. I feel like this kind of thing happens a lot because someone is over-moderating the server to the point you can’t freely express yourself. But hey, I’m banned so its not my problem.
