Talking D&D music, anyone has good bot suggestion for Discord?
Currently we use mee6, because that's the only bot that still play youtube videos (that we have). But it's absolute garbage. If you use spotify or soundcloud, I recommend chipbot instead. That's what we used before youtube ruined them.
Thanks i use none so for on Discord as the music i play comes from the VT Jukebox.
I would for the table I run, but we play at our LFGS, and its out in the open while other table games are being played, so it would only add to the already busy hustle-bustle chaotic environment.
I love how Matt Mercer uses music and at that kind of volume, it's ideal.
I'm composing my own music specifically for D&D which will be available to everyone in time. I'm working on a site which lets people find suitable tracks really quickly. It'll be good fun (for those that want music) but I will no doubt put an advice note somewhere prominent saying to play at low levels. It can distract if not.
For other playlists, my DM spends about 10 minutes before a session and picks out 5-8 tracks from an extensive library that he thinks may be of use for the night. Then just loops one or two in the background until a scene change or some action. Of course, he has lots of my tracks to choose from too.

Oh hey, after a while I found a new bot through some recommendations: Jockie Music Bot
I've created a music soundboard browser app to play music in our online games. The goal was maximum user friendliness. No distraction. We are using it in our game every week. You can have a look here if you're curious:

Awesome. Where are you getting your music/effects for in person games? Any recommendations?
Where's the poll option for "Never, thank <insert deity of your choice>"?

Plays youtube and you don't have to pay to loop.
