When rolling the digital dice it is so slow, taking forever for the dice to rest. Is there a way to speed this up, or even better, skip the rolling part altogether and just come up with a result?
The dice are rolled using a physics engine and the size of the screen as its random number generator. Everything is handled client side (aka your device).
If your dice are slow, it might be that your device is running slow and you can try various methods of improving that. Otherwise, try changing you dice type, some have fancier graphics that are harder to render. Simpler dice might be faster.
I was doing it on phone so that may be likely. Thank you.
The dice roll far better on my Galaxy Tablet than on my old Galaxy S8, and even better on my Galaxy S21. So better hardware definitely makes a difference.

I wonder if that’s why I consistently get better numbers on my desktop than on my phone.
Im sure some computer/math people will tell me that’s wrong, but it really happens.
From what I understand of how it works, that's totally plausible. Things roll very differently from my phone, to my tablet, to my different resolution and ratio monitors. Your screen is basically a dice tray, and the edges determine its size.
i have the new pride month dice and i think they are glitching
In what way?

The secret trick to getting the best possible rolls on digital dice is to always roll by clicking with the big toe of your left foot while sticking your right pinky up your left nostril and your left thumb in your right ear. Also you should be streaming live on Twitch while doing this. You should get a natural twenty about one out of every seven and a quarter rolls.

I tried this and it worked. I 100% recommend this technique

Pretty sure it's purely a RAM issue. Mine were torturously slow on my old laptop but since I got a new workstation with multiple times the amount of memory the rolls are comparable to physical rolls.
Happens to me every now and again. If you are on your phone manually close any extra browser windows you may have open. On a windows PC hit Ctrl Alt Delete and open Task Manager and manually close any browsers that maybe running in the background. I have had the issue where i had multiple Chrome applications open in the background and it slowed down the processor. I closed them in Task Manager and then the dice rolled fast again.
If you are using Windows you might also check to see if hardware acceleration is turned on at either the OS level or in Chrome (or whichever browser you are using). This may be on by default, but if not, turning it on might help speed things up.

Had the same issue. Turned on hardware acceleration in Chrome and this fixed the problem.
I have a question... on computer when I click the "My Dice" section. It only shows me my dice. Shouldn't there be a dice roller there? or is that only on character sheets

all of my dice roll almost instantly. which is a bit sad because it can reduce the tension on risky rolls
Nugz - Kobold Level 4 Bloodhunter/Order of the Mutant - Out there looking for snacks and evil monsters.
Ultrix Schwarzdorn - Human Level 6 Artificer/Armorer - Retired and works in his new shop.
Quercus Espenkiel - Gnome Level 9 Wizard/Order of Scribes - Turned into a book and sits on a shelf.
Artin - Fairy Level 4 Sorcerer/Wild Magic - Busy with annoying the townsfolk. Again.
Jabor - Fire Genasi - Level 4 Wizard/School of Evocation - The First Flame, The Last Chaos. Probably in jail, again.

I have the same problem on both my computers and they are both very high specs... could it be a problem with the actual site and its coding?
Mine roll fast on my low spec laptop and painfully slow on my computer with a 3080 and a tenth gen core i9. ???
EDIT: I enabled hardware acceleration in my browser settings and it fixed it.
I suspect its a graphics driver issue. I've seen slow rolls on new laptops, and fast rolls on 10 year old machines.
Turn on hardware acceleration if using Chrome. Settings > System, worked for people in my party.
