Which book do I need to by to be able to get my stats to 20 and more with the character build tool ? I go my street to 20 in my game but the character build tool doesn’t let me keep it. The maximum stats look to be reach and it remove my stats change.
There are certain items like the Tome of Clear Thought that can raise the cap of stats.
I think if you go to your sheet and click on a stat there should be an 'override score' area you can fill in.
During normal game play it's not possible to get a score over 20 on a player character and this would noramly be something you get via an item like the tome I mentioned above or through a custom feat or something.
But in are home brew game the dm got us one stats to 20.. when I go to create characters and get a stats to 20 it change other stats … their is no way to bypass that ?
Manually changing an ability should not change other abilities. You don't need to purchase anything to change your ability scores, I don't know what you are talking about or possibly doing wrong.
