Characters have been downloaded via PDF, so I'm ready to pull the trigger and just wash my hands of this site. I'm waiting till Tuesday for the rescheduled stream, but I would not be surprised if some new leak this weekend just warrants pulling the trigger.
I don't know, I certainly am far from giving DDB anymore money right now. It depends on the response from WotC, and how things evolve. I'm certainly considering leaving 5e altogether.
I have the legendary bundle, although i bought it about a year ago when it was only $400 or something. I HAD three campaigns I was tracking through this site, but months ago, probably around the time they announced OneDnD, I realized that the quality of content was slipping, and DDB seemed to be focusing more on selling us digital dice sets than fixing the homebrew system and other actual functional pieces of the service. Since then I have downgraded my master account to the free version, and moved on to playing PF2E. Best decision I could've made. My group and I are having a ball, and to be honest this is the first time I've been back to the site in a couple months. I won't be deleting my account but I'm definitely not spending any more $ here or on D&D in general due to the direction they've taken. I highly recommend you check out some competitors as well, if you haven't already. WOTC is going down the wrong path IMO.
You guys do what you want, but I'm probably going to keep my account for the time being. I am not at all happy with the OGL nor their terrible PR spin and I wont be purchasing or subbing at all for the foreseeable future.
But to me, deleting my account feels the same as someone protesting a company by destroying a product they already bought. I have digital versions of my physical books on here to make things easier for myself. Deleting my account only serves to hurt me. They already have my money from the past few years, I'd just be throwing away stuff and they wouldn't care.
Of course I can't speak for everyone. I have no doubt a lot of people played in groups where one person had a sub and all the books and just shared it with others, so them deleting their accounts is a different story. Not to mention I am migrating all my characters off site and on to different tools (character sheet apps or even just print out the character sheet PDFs) and I have zero faith in Hasbro/WotC doing the right thing.
If it eventually comes to the point where deleting my account is better than not, so be it. But for now, I'd rather not flush the razer blade or burn my shoes.
The following is the body of my ticket request for account deletion:
Hello,
In light of the OGL 1.1 leak, as well as Wizards of the Coast's response to that leak, I would like to request that my D&D Beyond account be deleted.
This is unfortunate as I was mere days away from purchasing the Legendary Bundle (Almost $1000), to further support the D&D brand.
I cannot trust a company that would attempt to destroy over half of the Tabletop RPG industry in such a manner and then go forth and lie about it. Going forward, I will not be buying any D&D branded products while WotC continues to control the brand under Hasbro.
Wizards of the Coast has lost a customer that has loyally supported the D&D brand for over 20 years and now that support will go to ethical publishers like Paizo and Kobold Press.
In light of the response! I’m warming up my fireplace it’s up to you WotC !?! If I can allow any WotC product to remain in my home. No more money from this lifetime supporter of D&D. I’m upset beyond words on your actions and hurt to so many in the community! Now wear is my Frank Frezetta lighter ?
Why would I delete my account? WotC may have started out as the great evil for what they may have done, yet they never did it, and we will never know if they would have. I wish the mob had let WotC actually do something wrong, instead the mob of "creators" just fed the fire for their own views and profits all while many knew the real truth.
Yes I'm disappointed in WotC, but I always seen them as a business and they are acting like one. The "creators" showed their true colors in the last few days. Many have earned an unsub or delete due to it from me.

What about you all?
Speaking only for myself, what I do with this account depends entirely on WotC's response.

As a Legendary account after 3 and a half years I’m Done. Actions speak Louder than words.
Wendys Feast of Legends is looking mighty fine for a TTRPG.
