Starfinder has a gravity-based class called the Solarian that you could use to represent biotics pretty well. Starfinder in general would be what I would base a Mass Effect system on rather than 5e, until/unless they make a much more in-depth space system.
Ignore the haters, https://www.n7.world has what you are looking for, my friend. The greatest Sci-Fi RPG since KotOR with DnD 5e rules. It’s not complete but should give you enough to get you to your nearest mass relay, and you can homebrew from there.
Use the rules from Captains and Cannons on DMguild for ship-to-ship combat. Reskin dungeons as bases and and space stations/ships, etc. Then grab the free version of Stars without Number on DriveThruRPG for its sector creator and space travel rules and you’re laughing.
Incidentally, I’m doing a mass effect solo game using Savage Worlds Adventure Edition at the moment. It is so much fun.
You'd probably get better answers from a Mass Effect forum, not a D&D one.

Circle of the Commander Shepard
Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
The best 5E classes & subclasses for Mass Effect subsitutions:
Psi Warrior Fighter- Vanguard
Artillerist Artificer- Engineer
Armorer Artificer- Infiltrator or Sentinel, depending on whether you go Infiltrator or Guardian
Graviturgy Wizard- Adept
Battle Master- Soldier
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
