Can anyone direct me to a published sourcebook that contains adventures in the Abyss that are demon-oriented. I have found one for hell, and one with Abyss in the title that seems to be about the Underdark, but the 666 layers of the Abyss seem to elude me, and I don’t want to pull out Queen of the Demonweb Pits, as it is too focused on Drow. I am fully prepared to write my own, but was hoping to get some help, even if I have to spend some money.
D&D 2E "A Paladin in Hell" module. It's in Hell, probably won't fit your requirements exactly, but good material.
D&D 2E "The Great Modron March" Orcus corrupts the Modrons to become a God.
D&D 2E "For Duty and Diety" The goddess Wuakeen has been kidnapped by Demon Lord Graz'zt.
You can also get a ton of really good information on the hells and abyss in 5E Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. It has pretty much everything you need as a baseline summary, but WotC decided to pull that content, sorry. You can go to the library or ask one of your friends to borrow it. The first chapter goes in depth on the blood war, cults, demons etc.
You can use the spell effect changes from the Demonweb Pits for some inspiration when in the Abyss for spell changes. The rest of that module, unfortunately is a bit tangled to say the least.
If you want info on the Abyss and Demons in particular, I recommend the Planescape sourcebooks Planes of Chaos and Faces of Evil: The Fiends. Both 2nd Edition but they're all about the lore so there's not any major issues with the info they contain not being compatible with modern books.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

I don't think that there are any official adventures like that for 5E.

There is also the not too subtly named "In the Abyss"
